Adjust Lift Link and Pivot Link Lengths

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! To avoid damage to lift arms or deck when installing mower deck for the first time, verify that the dimensions of the lift link assembly and the pivot link assembly are within the specifications described below.

MX20621, MX20622

The lift link and pivot link lengths are set at the factory to the specifications required for a machine equipped with R3 Turf Tires (Rear 44x18-20, Front 27x10.50-15):

• Lift link assembly dimension (A) = 909 mm +/- 10 mm (35.8 +/- 0.4 in.).

• Pivot link assembly dimension (B) = 683 mm +/- 5 mm (26.9 +/- 0.2 in.).

For machines equipped with tires other than R3 Turf, adjust the lift link assembly dimension (A) on both sides as follows:

• Larger tires - increase lift link assembly dimension.

• Smaller tires - decrease lift link assembly dimension.

Adjusting Yoke and Front Pivot Length

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! The attaching kit and mower can be damaged when installing mower if the kit is not adjusted correctly. Adjust length of adjustable yoke assembly and front pivot assembly to maintain a minimum of 3mm (1/8 in.) clearance between mower and front upstops, with mower in raised position.

Lift the mower slowly the first time, to be sure no damage will occur to the mower or the attaching kit.

M63977

M63978

The minimum and maximum dimensions for adjustable yoke assembly (A) and front pivot assembly (C) are as follows:

• Yoke and clevises range (B) equals 140 mm - 160 mm (5.5 in. - 6.3 in.).

• Front pivot assembly (C) range (D) equals 584 mm - 624 mm (23.0 in. - 24.6 in.). For standard installation, dimension is around 608 mm (24.0 in.).

Adjusting Upstop Clearance

MX20905
