Service LubricationGreaseThe following greases are preferred:• John Deere Multi-Purpose SD Polyurea Grease • John Deere Multi-Purpose HD Lithium Complex Grease If not using any of the preferred greases, be sure to use a general all-purpose grease with an NLGI grade No.2 rating. Wet or high speed conditions may require use of a special-use grease. Contact your Servicing dealer for information. The following lubricant is preferred:• SUPER LUBE® lubricant.1 Lubricating Loader and Loader Boom1. Lubricate pivot grease fittings (A) on each side of the boom. 2. Lubricate pivot grease fittings (B) on each side of boom. 3. Lubricate anti-rollback linkage grease fittings (C) on left side of boom. 4. Lubricate pivot grease fittings (D) on each side of loader. 5. Lubricate anti-rollback linkage grease fitting (E). Lubricate Optional Loader Multi-Purpose Bucket Pivots• Lubricate grease fittings (A) on each end of bucket. Lubricating Backhoe Linkage, Pivots, and Cylinder Rod EndsNOTE: Cylinder grease fitting (C) is easier to access if boom is swung fully left or right. 1. Lubricate pivot grease fittings (A) on each side of backhoe. 2. Lubricate pivot grease fittings (B) and (C). 3. Lubricate pivot grease fittings (D) on each side of dipperstick. 4. Lubricate pivot grease fittings (E). 5. Lubricate pivot grease fittings (F). Lubricate Backhoe Stabilizers• Lubricate pivot grease fittings (A) and (B) on each stabilizer. Lubricating 3-Point Hitch |
