Using Troubleshooting Chart

If you are experiencing a problem that is not listed in this chart, see your authorized dealer for service.

When you have checked all the possible causes listed and you are still experiencing the problem, see your authorized dealer.

Troubleshooting

If

Check

Backhoe does not run smoothly.

Tractor hydraulic oil level low.

Air in hydraulic oil lines. Bleed air from lines.

Hydraulic lines not connected properly. Check hydraulic quick-disconnect couplers for full engagement.

Backhoe needs lubrication.

Backhoe will not swing.

Swing lock pin is installed. Remove boom lock pin.

Tractor hydraulic oil level low.

Backhoe will not operate.

Debris inside valve cover.

Backhoe will not hold position.

Hydraulics are leaking. Check lines and tighten any leaking connections.

Tractor hydraulic oil level low.

Tractor hydraulic oil is dirty. Change oil if needed.
