Service Intervals

BEFORE EACH USE

Check transmission oil level.
Check engine oil level.
F725: Check coolant level.

RECOMENDED SERICE AFTER EACH USE

Clean the clippings and dirt from the engine, especially from the air intake screens(s).
Remove belt shields and clean the belt area.
Inspect the belts.
Clean under the deck and inspect the blades.
Check for loose, missing, or damaged parts.
If you operate the mower in severe conditions, lubricate the three mower spindles.
Lubricate the wheel spindles and bearings.
Check the tire pressure.
Check the mower level.
Adjust the cutting height and gauge wheel.
Fill the fuel tank.
Turn the fuel shutoff to the CLOSED position.

AFTER THE FIRST 10 HOURS

Change the engine oil and filter.

AFTER THE FIRST 20 HOURS (BREAK-IN)

F710: Change engine oil filter.

EVERY 25 HOURS

Clean the foam air cleaner element.
Check the mower blades.
Lubricate the crank bushing.
Lubricate the mower wheel bearings and spindles.
Lubricate the rear wheel bearings.
Lubricate the transmission control arm.
Lubricate the pedal pivot.
Lubricate the driveline.
Lubricate the rear spindle support.
Check the tire pressure.
Check the indicator lights.

EVERY 50 HOURS

F725 (Break-In): Change engine oil and filter.

· F710 (Break-In): Change engine oil.

Check the battery electrolyte level.
Change the transmission oil and the transaxle filter after the first 50 hours.

EVERY 100 HOURS

Replace the air cleaner paper element.
F710: Change engine oil.

· F725 (Break-In): Change engine oil filter.

· F725 (Break-In): Change engine oil and filter.

EVERY 200 HOURS

Check mower gearbox level.
Check PTO gearbox oil level.
Check transmission oil level.
Check the safety system.

· F725: Change engine oil and filter.

· Change engine oil filter-F710.

EVERY 300 HOURS

Clean and gap the spark plug.

EVERY 400 HOURS

Change transmission oil and both filters.
Change the mower gearbox oil.
Check the toe-in.

EVERY 500 HOURS

Drain, flush, and fill the cooling system.
Tighten the hose clamps.
Check the valve clearance.

Check the hour meter to learn when the Front Mower needs service.
