
Removing
Removing Broom
1. Park machine safely with broom raised. (See Parking Safely in SAFETY.)
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Lower the park stands before lowering broom to ground or bristles can be damaged.

2. Install parking stands in the lowered position.
3. Lower broom onto gauge wheels and parking stands.

4. Pull back collar (A) on PTO shaft coupler. Pull driveshaft straight back until it disconnects from PTO output shaft (B).

5. Put PTO shaft support (C) in support position as shown. Put PTO shaft on support.
6. Pull both L-pins (D) outward and turn to unlocked position with roll pins in grooves.
7. Push the lower hydraulic control lever on the tractor forward to lower the front quick hitch.

8. Drive tractor back slowly until pins (E) in broom frame disengage from notches (F) in hitch.
c CAUTION: Avoid injury!
When the attachment is removed, also remove any ballast that was added to the machine.
Use only attachments and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

9. Remove any ballast.
Storing Safety
c CAUTION: Avoid injury! Fuel vapors are explosive and flammable. Engine exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide and can cause serious illness or death:
• Run the engine only long enough to move the machine to or from storage.
• Do not store vehicle with fuel in the tank inside a building where fumes may reach an open flame or spark.
• Allow the engine to cool before storing the machine in any enclosure.

Storing Broom
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Store broom away from direct sunlight with park stands lowered to prevent damage and deterioration to bristles.

• Clean broom with water pressure.
• Store the broom on a hard, level surface in a dry place.
• Lower broom parking stands.
• Remove broom from machine.
• Repair or replace damaged parts.
• Apply touch-up paint where needed.
• Lubricate all grease points.
• If storing broom outside, put waterproof cover over it.
Removing Broom From Storage
• Check brush sections and replace if necessary.
• Lubricate all grease points.
• Check gearbox oil level.
• Make sure all guards and shields are installed.
• Tighten all hardware.
