
Service Intervals
Servicing Your Machine
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Operating in extreme conditions may require more frequent service intervals:
· Engine components may become dirty or plugged when operating in extreme heat, dust or other severe conditions.
· Engine oil may lose efficiency if vehicle is operated constantly at slow or low engine speeds or with frequent short trips.

Please use the following timetables to perform routine maintenance on your machine.
Break In
After First 8 Hours:
· Check and tighten wheel bolts to correct torque.
· Check brake fluid level.
After First 50 Hours:
· Change engine oil and filter.
Every 50 Hours
· Lubricate drive line (AWD).
· Check brake fluid level.
· Check transaxle oil level.
Every 200 Hours or Annually (whichever comes first)
· Change engine oil and filter.
· Change fuel filter.
· Check air cleaner dust unloading valve.
· Clean radiator.
· Check drive belt condition.
· Check driven clutch wear buttons.
· Clean primary drive clutch.
· Inspect battery. Clean if necessary.
· Check and tighten wheel bolts to correct torque.
· Check and tighten all hardware.
Every 800 Hours
· Adjust engine valve clearance (see your John Deere dealer for this service).
Every 800 Hours or 24 Months (whichever comes first)
· Change transaxle oil.
· Change AWD oil.
· Replace drive belt.
Every 1000 Hours or 24 Months (whichever comes first)
· Change engine coolant.
