Servicing Your Machine
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Operating in extreme conditions may require more frequent service intervals:
• Engine components may become dirty or plugged when operating in extreme heat, dust or other severe conditions.
• Engine oil can degrade if machine is operated constantly at slow or low engine speeds or for frequent short periods of time.

Please use the following timetables to perform routine maintenance on your machine.
Break In
After First 5 Hours:
• Check and tighten hardware.
• Check tire pressure.
• Check engine oil level.
• Check air intake tube.
After First 10 Hours:
• Check and tighten wheel bolts to correct torque.
• Check drive belt tension.
• Check drive chain tension.
After First 20 Hours:
• Change engine oil and filter.
After First 25 Hours:
• Lubricate axle couplers.
Every 25 Hours
• Check tire pressure.
• Clean operator’s station and engine compartment.
• Check coolant level.
• Check fuel filter sediment bowl.
Every 50 Hours
• Check and tighten hardware.
• Check drive belt condition and tension.
• Clean battery and check electrolyte level.
• Check wear pads on driven clutch.
• Check drive chain tension.
• Check air intake tube.
• Check coolant level.
• Check fuel filter sediment bowl.
• Lubricate front king pins.
• Lubricate drive chain.
• Lubricate axle couplers.
Every 100 Hours
• Check transaxle oil level.
• Check air cleaner dust unloading valve.
Every 200 Hours or Annually (whichever comes first)
• Check and tighten wheel bolts to correct torque.
• Clean primary drive clutch.
• Change fuel filter.
• Change engine oil and filter.
• Adjust engine valve clearance. (See your John Deere dealer for this service.)
• Check alternator belt tension.
Every 200 Hours or 24 Months
• Change coolant (if using COOL-GARD™ CONCENTRATED coolant).
Every 300 Hours or 36 Months
• Change coolant (if using COOL-GARD™ PRE-DILUTED coolant).
Every 500 Hours
• Change transaxle oil. (See your John Deere dealer for this service.)
