Installing Blower Assembly
1. Raise discharge chute (A), and install short end (B) of long bent pin in front mounting bracket (C).
2. Install POWER FLOW on long end (D) of bent pin.
3. Move tension lever (E) to release position.
4. Fully raise mower deck discharge chute (A), and rotate POWER FLOW housing (F) rearward and next to front baffle plate (G).
5. With discharge chute (A) still fully raised, pivot rear of POWER FLOW toward deck. Insert bent pin (H) into large hole (I) in right rear gage bracket and into smaller hole on opposite side.
6. Hold POWER FLOW securely against mower deck discharge area.
7. Install drive belt (J) to top sheave (K) with belt “V” in groove.
8. Locate belt installation label (L) on belt shield and verify correct drive belt installation. The drive belt must run:
a. from mower deck top sheave (K),
e. back to mower deck top sheave (K).
9. Move tension lever (E) to lock position.
10. Lower modified deck belt shield (P) onto deck and under bar (Q), as shown, with rear end (R) of deck belt shield installed on rear locknut (S) first.
11. Rotate front side (T) of deck belt shield into position, slide forward, and tighten locknuts (S) and (U) to 30 N•m (22 lb-ft).
Adjusting Mower Deck
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Adjust mower deck right-hand wheels after each installation to provide adequate support for the POWER FLOW while traveling over the mowing area. |
1. Adjust cutting height and level mower deck side-to-side and front-to-rear as described in tractor operator’s manual.
2. Lower mower deck to pre-set cutting height.
3. Adjust both right-hand mower deck wheels to one position lower than they were positioned when leveling mower deck.
Cutting Blower Chute
1. If not already done, cut blower chute at cut line “A”:
• Apply several layers of tape around the chute on the edge of the correct cut line to provide a straight guideline for cutting.
