
Service Intervals
Servicing Machine
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Operating in extreme conditions may require more frequent service intervals:
· Engine components may become dirty or plugged when operating in extreme heat, dust or other severe conditions.

Please use the following timetables to perform routine maintenance on the machine.
After Each Fueling
· Inspect machine for leaks, cracks and wear.
· Check operation of ignition switch, choke lever, throttle lever and trigger interlock.
· Inspect fuel tank for leaks, cracks and wear.
· Check idle (blades must not move at idle).
· Clean air filter.
· Inspect cutting blades for damage, proper clearance and sharpness.
· Inspect gear head for damage and wear.
After Finishing Daily Work
· Clean machine.
Weekly
· Inspect fuel filter.
· Inspect spark arrestor in muffler for damage and wear.
· Tighten all accessible screws and nuts on machine. (Do not tighten adjusting screws.)
· Inspect starter rope for damage and wear.
Monthly
· Clean fuel tank and cap.
· Check spark plug gap.
· Grease gearhead.
If Damaged or Faulty
· Clean and replace fuel filter element.
· Clean or replace spark arrestor in muffler.
· Clean or replace cylinder exhaust port.
· Replace air filter.
· Replace starter rope.
· Replace spark plug.
· Replace cutter blades.
Every 6 Months
· Clean and replace fuel filter element.
· Replace air filter.
· Replace spark plug.
Every 100 Hours
· Grease gearhead.
As Required
· Clean or replace spark arrestor in muffler.
· Inspect cylinder exhaust port for damage and wear.
· Clean or replace cylinder exhaust port.
· Clean air filter.
