Grease
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! ONLY use a quality grease in this application. DO NOT mix any other greases in this application. DO NOT use any BIO-GREASE in this application.

The following John Deere greases are preferred for the machine and lift arms:
· John Deere Multi-Purpose SD Polyurea (TY6341).
· John Deere Special-Purpose HD Moly (TY6333).
The following John Deere greases are preferred for the cutting units and cutting unit attachments:
· John Deere Special Purpose Golf and Turf Cutting Unit Grease (TY25083).
· John Deere Special Purpose Cornhead Grease (AN102562)
· John Deere Multi-Purpose SD Polyurea Grease (TY6341)
Other greases may be used for the machine application if above preferred John Deere greases are not available, provided they meet the following specifications:
· Polyurea Grease - NLGI Grade 2.
· Calcium Complex Grease - NLGI Grade 2.
· John Deere Standard JDM J13E4, NLGI Grade 2.

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Lubricate immediately after washing the machine to remove water before bearings cool and pull in water and contaminates.

Greasing Rear Lift Linkage
NOTE: At 200 hours or during scheduled engine oil change, a new layer of grease needs to be applied under the washers and to the short straps where they are exposed through the slot holes in the long strap.
