Transporting
CAUTION: When traveling on public roads whether at night or
during the day, use the accessory light and devices for adequate warning
to operators of other vehicles.
-
When raising the machine to the transport position, adjust the
tractor’s 3-point hitch lift height so that the machine drive
wheel is lifted up to 35 cm off the ground to prevent damage to the
implement.
-
Be sure to reduce tractor ground speed when turning and leave
enough clearance so that the seed drill does not contact obstacles
such as buildings, trees or fences.
-
Select a safe ground travel speed when transporting from one
area to another. When traveling on roadways transport in such a way
that the faster moving vehicles pass you safely.
-
When traveling over rough or hilly terrain, shift the tractor
to a lower gear.
-
During transport or whenever the implement must be raised, it
is advisable to adjust the lift unit of the tractor so that the implement
itself is not raised more than about 35 cm from the ground.
-
Do not drive on public highways.
-
Lower the machine slowly. Do not allow it to drop violently
on the ground. Doing this would strongly stress all the machine components
and could damage them.
