Adjust GreenStar 2 Rate Controller™ Settings

1. NOTE: This section describes ONLY initial settings for machines equipped with GreenStar 2 Rate Controllers. See GreenStar 2 Rate Controller Operator’s Manual for all other instruction regarding setting alarms, rates, additional calibration, or troubleshooting.

   Press Setup softkey.

2. Select implement type (E).

3. Select LIQUID FERT. TOOL.

4. Select or enter new implement name (F).

5. Press Set-Up Sections (L).

6. NOTE: See RATE CONTROLLER CHART—on next page.

   Enter number of sections and set section width.

7. Disable fence row nozzles.

8. Set switch box association as appropriate.

9. Select Height Switch (Q) if equipped.

10. Disable dual boom.

    Select 3-WIRE section valve type (E).

12. Select FAST control valve type (G).

13. Enter correct tank size (H).

14. Enter 2031 for control valve calibration (I).

15. IMPORTANT: See calibration value (J) stamped on flowmeter tag.

    Enter flowmeter calibration value (J).

16. Set flowmeter units to gal (K).

17. Deselect flow return (M).

18. Select pressure sensor (N).

19. IMPORTANT: To calibrate pressure sensor (P), see Section 40 in GreenStar 2 Rate Controller manual using 20 mV/psi value.

    Calibrate pressure sensor (P).

20. NOTE: Agitator valve operated manually.

    Deselect agitator valve (Q).
