A - Entire Cylinder

Attached to the wheel mountings are cylinders which each actuate two drum brakes.

IMPORTANT: Be certain to latch tractor brakes together when transporting drill on the road.

The piston rod acts on a balance lever which twists the two brake levers.

To produce the necessary braking force, the balance lever must be in the central hole in the brake lever.

When the parking brake is actuated, the entire cylinder (A) assembly moves within the slot provided.
