Serious injury or death to you or others can result from
contact with electric lines. Use care when moving or operating this
machine near electric lines to avoid contact.
CAUTION: Avoid personal injury. Do not stand within the working
area of the track markers.
The track markers operate on the same hydraulic circuit as the
outer unit fold cylinders. Solenoid valve (A) provides flow in one
direction or another.
Signus™ Monitor: When monitor
is powered, the markers function. When monitor is powered down, the
fold circuit functions.
GreenStar™ Monitor: Marker switch
(E) alternates between marker function and fold function. Power does
not have to be cycled.
A sequence valve (B) automatically alternates the track markers
each time the openers are raised and lowered. To lower both markers
simultaneously, lower one marker, then quickly cycle the hydraulic
lever to lower the second marker. If a marker arm collides with any
other drill components, shorten marker length slightly.
Track markers are overload protected by a shear bolt (C). Two
spare shear bolts (D) per marker are provided with the machine.
IMPORTANT: Shear bolts (C) must be correct size for version
of machine. The use of other shear bolt types can lead to marker damage.
Use proper shear bolt (C) size.
