Checking Wheel Bolts and Wheel Bearings

A - Wheel Bolts

B - Hub Cap

Tighten all wheel bolts (A) to specification.

Item	Measurement	Specification
Wheel Bolts	Torque	135-183 N˙m (100-130 lb-ft)

Check wheel bearings during the first week of operation and periodically after that.

Remove hub cap (B) and cotter pin. Raise the wheel and turn it. Tighten nut until there is a slight drag on the bearings; back off to the first hole and insert cotter pin.

Replace hub cap.
