A - Sowing Shaft Sensor
B - Blower Shaft Sensor
C - Land Wheel Sensor
D - Magnet
E - Lock Nuts
Sowing shaft sensor (A), blower shaft sensor (B) and land wheel
sensor (C) require to be correctly adjusted for an accurate monitoring.
Sowing Shaft Sensor
Adjust distance between sensor (A) and magnet (D) as specified.
Secure sensor with lock nuts (E).
| Item | Measurement | Specification |
|
Distance Between Sensor and Magnet | Maximum
Distance | 1.5 mm (0.06 in.) |
Blower Shaft Sensor
Adjust distance between sensor (B) and cam to specification:
| Item | Measurement | Specification |
|
Distance Between Sensor and Cam | Maximum
Distance | 1.5 mm (0.06 in.) |
Turn sensor (B) into blower shaft support until it contacts
a cam and then turn back half a turn. Thus the specified distance
is obtained. Check that cams will pass sensor freely. Secure sensor
with lock nuts (E).
Land Wheel Sensor
Adjust distance between sensor (C) and rotating bar magnet (D)
to specification. The south pole of the bar should then point toward
the sensor. Secure sensor with lock nuts (E).
| Item | Measurement | Specification |
|
Distance Between Sensor and Rotating Bar Magnet | Maximum Distance | 3 mm (0.12 in.) |
