Conditions for Use of Blower

The tractor must be fitted with the following equipment:

• Parallel operation:— Parallel operation of the SCVs is necessary to allow the opener pressure to be adjusted during sowing.
• Number of SCVs:— Suitable SCVs must be available for the selected hydraulic functions; it may be possible to couple similar functions together. Priority must be given to the oil supply for the blower.
• Special requirement for certain tractors:— Conversion plate LCB498853 must be fitted to all John Deere tractors that do not have load-sensing valves.

  A - Coupler

  Oil pressure in the blower return line must be kept as low as possible in order to prevent damage to the hydraulic pump. Return pressure must not exceed specifications.

  A special coupler (A) is provided with the machine to be installed on the tractor. It is designed so return oil will be pressure-free.

  Return oil should NOT be fed back to the tractor's SCV, but be returned directly to the filter and from there to the reservoir.
