Bleeding Trapped Air From Cylinders

CAUTION: Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin
causing serious injury to you or others. Relieve pressure before
disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before
applying pressure. Keep hands and body away from pinholes and nozzles
which eject fluids under high pressure. Use a piece of cardboard
or paper to search for leaks. Do not use your hand. If
ANY fluid is injected into the skin, it must be surgically removed
within a few hours by a doctor familiar with this type injury or gangrene
may result.

Attach cylinder BASE ENDS to linkage, ports up. Support cylinder
on wooden blocks, so that rod ends are higher than base ends, and
to prevent rod from contacting machine.

Remove protective caps on hoses and cylinders; then assemble
and install hoses to cylinders.

Connect hoses to tractor. Cycle cylinders several times to bleed
trapped air from lines and to check cylinder function.

Check tractor oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Attach rod ends to linkage.
