Turning With the Drill

Just before reaching the edge of the field or headland, raise drill clear of ground while moving forward, and reduce engine speed. After turning, lower drill approximately 1 to 1.5 m (3.27 to 4.91 ft) before the point of intended sowing. The seeds need a little time to travel from the metering device to the openers.
