Example of Tramlining
If the spraying/fertilizing tractor is equipped with wide tires,
several adjacent openers must be shut off.
The spacing of the tramlines is determined by a given rhythm:
Working width of sprayer/fertilizer divided by working width
of drill is equal to the tramline rhythm.
Example:
You have a 6-m drill and a crop sprayer that has a working width
of 18 meters.
18 m divided by 6 m is equal to 3 which is the tramline rhythm.
