Bleed and Attach Wing Fold Cylinders
CAUTION:

X9811-UN-23AUG88
Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing
serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting
hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying
pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands
and body from high-pressure fluids. If an accident occurs,
see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected into the skin must be
surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene may result.

Support cylinders on wooden blocks, so rods can extend and
retract without interference.
-
CAUTION: If cylinders are not bled as described, wings could
drop unexpectedly, causing injury or death.
Bleed air from system.
-
Connect hoses to tractor.
-
Fully extend and retract all cylinders at least two times, maintaining
hydraulic pressure at full extension for at least 30 seconds.
-
Extend cylinders again, maintaining pressure at full extension
for one minute to allow all air to escape from cylinders.
-
CAUTION: To avoid injury or death, stand clear of machine when
wings are being folded or unfolded. Mechanical or hydraulic failure
can allow wings to fall rapidly, causing injury or death.
