Check Hydraulic Control Functions

CAUTION: Verify that machine area is clear of bystanders and stationary obstacles before checking control functions.

Bystanders can be struck by moving machine parts and severely injured or killed.

Machine contact with stationary obstacles can cause damage.

1. Depth-Control Operations—Frame or openers raise and lower in response to SCV I control lever.

2. Wing-Fold Operations—Wings unfold and fold in response to SCV II control lever.

3. CAUTION: Keep all persons away from machine when checking blower operation. Seed blowing out at high speed can strike someone, causing eye and other personal injuries.

   IMPORTANT: Verify that case drain line is properly connected to low-pressure drain port before starting blower. If hose is not properly connected, hydraulic motor damage occurs rapidly.

   Blower Operations—Blower turns in response to SCV III control lever.
