Operation in Wet Conditions

When operating in wet conditions, a solid “ribbon” of soil can cover the furrow, creating a seed tunnel which causes slow and/or erratic emergence.

No opener adjustment will prevent soil “ribbon” from forming in wet soil. The only way to correct this problem is to delay seeding until the field is dry.
