Safety chains help control drawn equipment in case accidental separation from drawbar occurs during transport. A runaway machine could cause severe injury or death to someone. Use appropriate adapter parts to attach chain to tractor drawbar support. Provide only enough slack in chain to permit turning. See your John Deere dealer for a chain with a strength rating equal to or greater than the gross weight of towed machine.|
