Clean Out the CCS™ Tanks

   Chemicals can be harmful to your health or the environment. Follow the label instructions from the chemical manufacturer when working with treated seed.

   Shut off the CCS™ blower.

   A - Drain Door

   B - Cleanout Door

   The cleanout doors (B) cannot be closed until seed stops flowing.

   If the tanks contain a large volume of seed, use the drain door (A) to reduce the volume of seed to a manageable level.

3. IMPORTANT: Avoid damage to the cleanout doors (B). Close the cleanout doors before folding the machine.

   Open each cleanout door (B).

4. IMPORTANT: When cleaning certified seed from the tanks, use a broom to remove every kernel.

   Remove seed treatment or talc buildup from a tank before refilling.

   NOTE: A stiff bristled broom with a 140 cm (4.5 ft) handle and an 20 cm (8 in) wide brush works well.

   Clean inside the CCS™ tank as needed.

5. Close the cleanout and drain doors.
