Change the In-Line Orifices for Liquid Fertilizer

Remove In-Line Orifice

1. NOTE: If needed, the special pliers (Lisle 47900 Hose Remover Pliers), are purchased through the Lisle corporation.

   A - Special Pliers

   B - In-Line Orifice

   C - Coupler

   D - Check Valve

   Insert the special pliers (A), as far as possible, between the in-line orifice (B) and the coupler (C). Squeeze the pliers until the coupler disengages.

2. Insert the special pliers (A), as far as possible, between the in-line orifice (B) and the check valve (D). Squeeze the pliers until the in-line orifice disengages from the check valve.

3. Remove and retain the in-line orifice (B) for future use.

4. Repeat on all fertilizer openers.

Install In-Line Orifice

1. NOTE: Consult the fertilizer rate charts for the correct in-line orifice size at the target application rate.

   A - In-Line Orifice

   B - Check Valve

   C - Coupler

   Push the in-line orifice (A) into the check valve (B). Pull on the in-line orifice to ensure that it is locked into the check valve.

2. Push the coupler (C) onto the in-line orifice (A). Pull on the coupler to ensure that it is locked onto the in-line orifice.

3. Repeat on all fertilizer openers.
