Tighten the Meter Latch

The meter latch (A) must close firmly into the locked position when the hook (B) is seated through the meter tab and the BrushBelt™ cartridge. If the latch or the meter is out of adjustment, proceed as follows:

  1. Release the latch and hook.

  2. Rotate the hook one full revolution.

  3. Install the meter and position the hook into the meter tab and the BrushBelt™ cartridge.

  4. Close the latch until the clip snaps, then check the latch for proper adjustment. Repeat these steps as necessary for other meter latches.
