Change The Double Eliminator and The Baffle Brush

   Remove the seed meter from the row unit. (See Remove and Install The ExactEmerge™ Seed Meter in this section.)

2. Open the vacuum meter. (See Access The Vacuum Meter in this section.)

3. Remove the seed disk. (See Clean Out The Vacuum Meter in the ExactEmerge™ Meter Operation section.)

4. Inspect the double eliminator for wear and replace it as needed.

5. NOTE: The Mini-Hopper has been removed from the back of the meter housing to see the inner double eliminator tabs.

   To remove and replace the inner double eliminator assembly (A):

   • Reach fingers inside the hopper opening (B).
   • Squeeze the tabs (C) to the unlock position.
   • Pull out the double eliminator assembly.
   • Replace the assembly by installing the tabs into the housing holes (D).
   • Repeat these steps on each seed meter as needed.

   To remove and replace the outer double eliminator assembly (A):
   • Remove the torque screws (B) and the plates.
   • Pull out the double eliminator assembly.
   • Align the slots (C) with the housing posts (D). To install, push the replacement assembly down into the meter housing.
   • To retain the assembly, tighten the torque screws (B).
   • Repeat these steps on each seed meter as needed.

   To remove and replace the baffle brush (A):
   • Gently pull the baffle brush (A) from the baffle (B).
   • Press the replacement brush into the baffle.
   • Repeat these steps on each seed meter as needed.
