Rigid Scraper

IMPORTANT: Avoid disk wear, only use the scraper in moist and sticky soil conditions. Remove the scraper in all other conditions.

Inspect the scraper insert for wear at the beginning of the season and periodically during the season.

To install the rigid scraper, use the following steps: (Repeat on both sides of each row unit.)

• Install the rigid scraper (A) into the holes on the shank.
• Place the leaf spring (B) over the top of the rigid scraper. Align the upper tab with the hole in the shank.
• Place the spring backing plate (C) over the top of the leaf spring. Align the upper tab with the hole in the shank over the top of the leaf spring tab.
• Insert and tighten the cap screw (D) through the spring backing plate and the leaf spring into the shank hole as shown.
