  1. NOTE: For best results, adjust the planter while parked on the field soil conditions.

    Lower the planter on level ground.



  2. CAUTION: Avoid a crushing injury. Do not loosen the carriage bolts (A) unless the tires are in contact with each other. The planter must be in the lowered position.

    Loosen the carriage bolts (A).

  3. Raise the planter until the planting units are at the height which seeding begins and ends. Initially, adjust the starting point just as the opener blades are barely in contact with the ground.

  4. Position the adjustment brackets (B) so they are firmly in contact with the stop plate (C).

  5. Tighten the bolts (A) to specification.
