Check Wheel Bolts and Bearings

Check torque on wheel bolts before operation, after initial 10 hours of use and after every 50 hours.

A - Wheel Bolts

Tighten wheel bolts (A) to specification.
Wheel Bolts—(Center Frame and Wing Wheels)Torque176 N·m (130 lb·ft)

To adjust wheel bearing proceed as follows:

  1. Remove center hub cap and cotter pin.

  2. Tighten nut until there is a slight drag on the bearings, while turning wheel.

  3. Back off nut until the cotter pin can be installed in the hole.

  4. Replace hub cap.
