    A - Half-Width Disconnect Handle

    Lift half-width disconnect handle (A) on the air cart to shut off product flow to the rank of openers that are not being used. (See Meter Setup and Operation section of 1910 Commodity Air Cart Operator's Manual.)

    A - Agitators

    B - Hairpins

    Hairpins (B) for agitators (A) on inactive runs must be pulled to prevent damage to agitator shaft and crank. (See Meter Setup and Operation section of 1910 Commodity Air Cart Operator's Manual.)



  3. If equipped with a blockage warning system, SeedStar™ setup requires sensors to be turned off for the inactive runs to prevent alarms. (See Monitor Setup for Air Cart section of 1910 Commodity Air Cart Operator's Manual.)

  4. If equipped with seed counting, SeedStar™ setup requires seed counting to be turned off for the inactive runs to prevent alarms. (See Monitor Setup for Air Cart section of 1910 Commodity Air Cart Operator's Manual.)

    A - Hydraulic Lock-Up Valve, Front Rank

    B - Hydraulic Lock-Up Valve, Rear Rank

    Raise all openers on tool fully, and close hydraulic lock-up valve to lock up rank of openers that are not being used for seeding. Close hydraulic lock-up valve (A) to lock up front rank of openers. Close hydraulic lock-up valve (B) to lock up rear rank of openers for 38 cm (15 in) spacing.



  6. If equipped with a dual height sensor option, cable connected to switch on rank of openers to be used for seeding must be connected to cart. Cables and switches are marked with color-coded tie bands for ease of identification.

    A - Height Sensor

    If seeding tool is equipped with single height sensor (A) option, height sensor requires to be moved to the rank of openers that are used for seeding.



  7. Seed setting needs doubled from setting called for in 1910 Commodity Air Cart Operator's Manual.

  8. If applying seed rates greater than 29.5 kg/ha (65 lb/acre) on 38 cm (15 in) spacing from a single tank, green meter rollers are required in the air cart meters. (See Meter Setup and Operation section of 1910 Commodity Air Cart Operator's Manual.)

    Calibrate meters according to procedure specified in 1910 Commodity Air Cart Operator's Manual. Doing this procedure gives the correct transmission setting for a desired seed rate.
