Row On/Off1. Touch the SETUP SELECT switch (A) the display will show ROW ON and (1). 2. Each time the 0-9 switch (B) is touched, the next row number will be displayed. For normal planting, all the rows should be ON.

If a row must be turned OFF, display that row and press the ROW ON/OFF switch (A). The display will show that row OFF. This row will not be monitored for seed population but will still accumulate area planted. Repeat procedure until each row that must be OFF shows OFF message when its row number is selected and displayed. NOTE: If a row has been turned OFF, the rows turned off will be remembered when the monitor is turned OFF and ON. The row can be turned back on by pushing the ROW ON/OFF switch for any particular row displayed. (7240, 7340, 1780 and 1730 planters only) Row spacing and number of rows must be reset whenever there is a change in the number of planting units being used. Use the following chart for set up when planting with a 1780 planter. NOTE: 1730, 7240 and 7340 planters use same procedure with number of rows on planter. |
