Symptom Problem Solution

(COMPUTER TRAK ® 250 only) Erratic monitor operation.

Intermittent excessive planter drive wheel slippage.

Check to be sure row unit down pressure springs are not excessively tight (too much down force), or add ballast to planter frame. Be certain that row attachments such as coulters or tine tooth are not carrying too much planter frame weight.

HI-WARN or LOW-WARN alarm sounds too frequently.

Limits may be set too close for planting conditions. Planter seed sensors may be dirty. Planter drive wheels may be slipping excessively.

Fuses blown in console.

Short in sensor harness or planter harness.

Check for damaged harness.

Console will only power up in Speed Area Monitor mode (will not allow HI WARN, LO WARN or ROW WIDTH to be programmed).

Monitor not connected to planter harness.

Connect to planter harness.

Planter harness has open circuit in ground (black) or +8V (red) between 37-pin connector and potted junction.

Repair harness.
