7000 Series Tractors-Radar and Bracket Installation

1. Remove tool box.

2. Install planter radar bracket to side frame with two M16 x 35 flange head screws (A).

3. Install radar plastic body with seam (A) against bracket (serial number must be UP ) using four 1/4 x 4 in. cap screws (B) and four 9/32 x 5/8 x 0.060 in. washers. Make certain washers are located between plastic radar body and bracket.

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN

NOTE: DO NOT let harness hang in front of radar white eye.

4. Route connector behind starter. coil excess harness under bracket.

5. Attach to two unused bracket holes (C) with tie bands.

6. Install tool box.

7. Remove cab floor mat and panel.

8. Connect radar signal harness (A) to tractor harness at fuel sender.

9. Route harness (A) along air conditioner lines and behind starter as shown.

10. Attach harness to lines with tie straps (B).

CAUTION: Avoid looking directly into the sensor face of radar to prevent possible eye damage from microwave signal emitted from radar sensor.

NOTE: Once radar is connected to tractor harness, radar supplies tractor instrumentation and radar signal is available for monitor from 2-pin connector at right-hand console.

11. Connect signal harness to radar harness at (C).
