Adjusting Pump to Pump Number Setting

NOTE: After determining desired gallons per acre, set pump at the number setting required.

Example: 30 in. row spacing and 19.0 gallons per acre. Set pump at 5.0.

1. Install special tool (A) onto pump pin (B) aligning teeth of tool with teeth of scale ring (C).

2. Loosen nut (D) and rotate scale ring with special tool until pointer (E) is pointing to number on gauge (F) that was selected from the rate chart. Tighten nut (D) to 25 N·m (18 lb-ft) of torque.

3. Store special tool (A) on pin (B) located on pump mounting bracket. Attach tool with spring locking pin (C).
