Angle Adjustment

NOTE: The following adjustment should be made in the field.

The closing disks close the seed trench by squeezing soil from each side of the trench around the seed. There are five angle settings which can be changed, depending on soil conditions. Use the minimum angle required to close the seed trench.

To change disk angle, loosen nut and bolt (A). Pivot disk and tighten nut and bolt.

Depth Adjustment

NOTE: The following adjustment should be made in the field.

The depth of the closing disks should be approximately 10 to 15 mm (3/8 to 5/8 in.) deeper than the planting depth. There are five settings available.

To change the depth, remove nut and bolt (A). Raise or lower adjusting bracket (B) and disk as necessary. Align holes and replace nut and bolt.
