Preparing the Hitch (6-RW and 8-RN)

If the planter has been stored with the hitch in the open position, proceed as follows:

Remove cap screws (A) and flat washers from clevis. Swing hitch halves closed. Be sure hitch halves are firmly seated with hitch clevis and attach with bolts (A) and flat washers. Tighten bolts to 230 N·m (170 lb-ft) of torque.
