Master cylinder stops not installed.

Install cylinder stops.

SCV not in hare position.

Erratic or uneven lift.

Air in hydraulic system.

Remove air.

Master cylinder seal leaking (6RW-8-RN)

Replace seal.

Planter will not raise.

Tractor SCV bypassing oil.

Re-cut vacuum blower rubber stop.

Inspect assembly, clean, lubricate and/or replace worn parts.

Inspect marker cable.

Actuator not lubricated.

Lubricate actuator.

Too much tractor hydraulic back pressure.

Consult your tractor operator's manual.

Marker cylinder not extending completely.

Check marker cylinder.

Check for any interference.

Cushion spring contacting stop on frame too tightly.

Adjust cable for light contact.

Markers not alternating.

Marker hoses not connected to marker valve correctly.

Bleed marker hydraulic system.

Adjust closing wheel spring.

Adjust closing wheel spring.

Closing wheel running on top of seed furrow.

Improper centering.

Realign.

Closing wheels not applying equal force.

Consistent shearing of drill shaft cotter pin.

Drill shaft not aligned properly.

Loosen bearing and align shaft.

Drive wheel chain consistently falls off.

Chains may be too long.

Remove offset link.

Add chain shields.

Fertilizer opener does not operate sufficiently.

Improper adjustment of pressure.

Move bolt to lower position.

Fertilizer opener penetrates too deeply.

Inspect, clean and remove obstruction.

Reassemble with correct augers.
