Marker Cable Length (1750 Standard)
To stabilize raised marker arms during field transport and operation, proceed as follows:
Check eye adjusting nut (A) on end of marker cable. As a starting point, eye nut should be positioned approximately midway between ends of thread on cable.
If necessary, loosen jam nut and adjust cable length with eye adjusting nut. Adjust cable so spring cushion maintains light contact with main frame (B) when marker is raised. If cables are too tight, markers will not alternate.
Raise marker and inspect setting.
Lower each arm and make necessary additional adjustments. Tighten jam nut.
NOTE:
Since marker cables may stretch slightly during operation, periodically check marker contact.
