Marker Shear Bolt or Cotter Pin (1750 Standard)

CAUTION: When the marker breaks away, avoid lifting planter (marker will swing forward rapidly) until marker is in line with frame and breakaway bolt has been replaced or marker is lifted and locked up by hand. Stand clear of marker disk when folding or securing marker.

(Four Row Narrow Planters) Use a 8 mm x 63 mm cotter pin as a safety shearing device should the marker hit an obstacle.

(Four Row Wide and Six Row Narrow Planters) Use a 5/16 x 2-1/2 in. (SAE 2) shear bolt (A) as a safety shearing device should the marker hit an obstacle. Do not use hardened pin.
