Install Service Lock and Marker Locks (1750 Standard)

Always install service lock in transport position when transporting the planter for any length of time.

Before transporting the planter, fully extend the hydraulic cylinder and remove service lock (A) from left-hand side of hitch.

Install service lock on cylinder rod and attach with pin (A) and spring locking pin.

Lock markers into transport position as follows:

causym CAUTION: Stand clear of disk blade when raising or securing marker.

Raise marker. Remove pin (A) from storage position and insert into slot in lock nut (B). Loosen lock nut and turn cushion spring (C) to 90 degrees.

Push marker arm in until contact is made with planter frame. Continue to rotate cushion 90 degrees farther until marker is locked into position. Tighten lock nut and insert pin (A) in storage position.

If transporting the planter any great distance, empty all hoppers.

Remove the marker extension arms for added height clearance.

After reaching the field, remove transport links from center mast and pin in storage position. Unlock markers.
