Vacuum Level, Baffle Position and Vacuum Meter Brush for Confectionary Sunflower Seed

For Confectionary Sunflower, use the seed supplier's information to calculate the seed size in seeds per pound.

EXAMPLE: If seeds per pound is 4250. Referring to the chart, the vacuum level should be set at 10 in. when using the Small Sweet Corn Disk.

IMPORTANT: The 10 in. vacuum level above is an example on how to use the chart. Obtain size in seeds per pound. You must calculate the proper vacuum level for each seed variety.

VACUUM METER BAFFLE AND DOUBLE ELIMINATOR

Move tab (A).

Confectionary sunflower, upper position (B).

Adjust double eliminator as follows:

Turn cam nut (C) to move top of double eliminator (D) toward the center of the housing as far as possible. Tighten screw (E).

VACUUM METER BRUSH

Use the regular (long) brush.

Talc Lubricant, 1/2 cup.
