Control Console
The console switches operate solenoid hydraulic valves. These solenoid valves prevent a cylinder from operating unless the valves are energized. All the planter cylinders are connected to one tractor selective control valve, but only the cylinders which have been selected by the control console switches can be controlled by the tractor selective control valve. You select the function with the switch but you control the function with the tractor selective control valve.
