Use the seed corn supplier's information to calculate the seed size in seeds per pound.
EXAMPLE: If the bag label indicates that there are 85,000 kernels in the bag and bag weight is 45 lbs., the seed size is 1889 seeds per pound (85,000 divided by 45). Referring to the chart, the vacuum level should be set at 7 in. when using the Standard Corn Disk or

10 in. when using the Small Corn Disk for a seed size of 1889 seeds per pound.
IMPORTANT:
The 7 in. or 10 in. vacuum level above is an example on how to use the chart. You must calculate the proper vacuum level for each corn variety.
