Installing Double Eliminator (Sweet Corn/edible Bean Disk - Flat Type)

NOTE: The double eliminator (A) is used to displace any extra seeds carried by the vacuum hole. The "saw-tooth design" gradually covers part of the vacuum hole.

Hole (G) is used for edible beans and hole (I) is used for sweet corn.

1. Remove meter from hopper. Save flange nuts for reassembly of meter.

2. Open meter.

3. Install double eliminator (B) in housing (C) as illustrated.

4. Insert dual lock fasteners (D) through housing and hole (E) of the double eliminator (B).

5. Insert cam nut (F) into rear of housing at hole (G). Install screw (H) through double eliminator and into cam nut (F). DO NOT tighten.

6. Install sweet corn or edible bean disk (A) and attach with hub handle.

7. Inspect gap between seed disk and housing at (B), then spin disk in housing.

NOTE: The seed disk should turn smoothly with light contact or small gap between the seed disk and housing. Turn seed disk by hand and check gap between seed disk and housing. Seed should NOT leak around circumference of the meter.

8. Readjust hub, if necessary.

9. Turn cam nut (C) to increase or decrease vacuum hole coverage. Object is to make double eliminator knock doubles off the disk but not knock singles off.

10. Close the meter and reattach to hopper using flange nuts removed in Step 1.
