High Residue Chain Idler

1. Check where chain rides on inserts (A) for wear. Measuring in the center of inserts, if worn down 3 mm (1/8 in.), remove nut (B), washers and spring.

2. Squeeze retaining pin (C) and remove outer plate (D).

3. Remove inserts and rotate 1/3 turn and reinstall on inner plate. Install outer plate, washers, spring and nut. If inserts have been previously turned two times and are wore out, install new inserts available through service parts.
