How to Set Liquid Fertilizer Rates

1. Refer to rate charts and select desired rate of gallons per acre.

2. Look at top of chart of desired rate for drive range.

Set range of pump drive.

3. Next to desired rate, note pump setting travel speed and orifice numbers.

a. Adjust pump to pump setting number.

b. Install orifice with recommended number into special fittings with stamped number facing the hose barb. See "Changing Orifice in Special Fitting" in this section.

IMPORTANT: To be certain you are getting the desired rate, you must do a field check. Refer to "Checking Fertilizer Rates" for instructions on how to check fertilizer rates.

This system is not RECOMMENDED for use with suspension fertilizers.

NOTE: The fertilizer attachment comes equipped with No. 43 orifices installed. No. 59 orifices are also provided. Other sizes must be purchased through service parts (No. 31 orifice part A52624, No. 78 orifice A52626 and No. 95 orifice A52627).

The rate charts are affected by many factors such as wheel slippage, tire pressure and material used, therefore, this chart should be used only as a guide.
