Replacing Marker Breakaway Bolt

The marker breakaway bolt (A) provides breakaway protection when the marker hits an obstacle.

To replace the breakaway bolt, proceed as follows:

Raise the marker arm.

Insert new breakaway bolt (M8 x 100).

Use wrench to remove nut (A) securing large bolt to frame.

Slide large bolt over breakaway bolt and secure with nuts. Torque first nut (B) and use second nut as a jam nut.

NOTE: Be certain flat sides (C) of large bolt are in slot in pivot and new bolt is squarely and fully seated.
