Transport Locking Straps

Remove transport locking straps (A) from storage position on each side of main frame by removing Quik-Lock pins (B) from pins (C).

CAUTION: Stay clear of folding sections during raising or lowering.

IMPORTANT: Empty ALL planting unit seed, insecticide and herbicide hoppers on wing extensions. Before folding planter, raise planter until planting units are clear of ground. On planters with independently controlled lift-assist wheels and rockshaft, extend hydraulic cylinder on lift-assist wheels to raise the rear of the planter before raising the front of the planter with the tractor rockshaft. Be certain to unfold sections before lowering planter to the ground. Failure to do so could result in damage to the outside planting units on the center section and inside planting units on folded sections of the planter.

Fold planter by moving remote cylinder operating lever rearward. Install transport straps and pins (bold arrow).
